Abacre Photo Downloader – Easily Download Multiple Images from Websites
Thanks to the internet, you have access to a myriad of websites that host great looking images. Whenever you feel like it, you can fire up your browser, visit such a website, and feast your eyes on some great looking images. If you want to, you can even save that image to your hard drive and view it whenever your want to. To do so you need simply right click the image and select “Save Image As”.
But what if you want to save more than just one picture? You could go over all the pictures you like and manually save them all – which will take a bit of time and effort. Or, you could do what I always do – turn to software and see if there is an application out there that can make life easier for you.
The Abacre-developed and aptly named Abacre Photo Downloader is such an application. It makes your life easier by:
- identifying all the images on the site that you specify
- downloading all the images from said site.
It is quite easy to take advantage of the functionality Abacre Photo Downloader provides. The first thing you have to do is provide the URL of the photo-hosting website. Then you have to select if you want Abacre Photo Downloader to download photos from the whole site, from a specific page, or from subfolders. Then let the application do its job.
Before you go get Abacre Photo Downloader, take a glance at these technical details:
Download – the download weighs in at close to 1MB, which is good news. It means that the download completes in no time at all.
Installation – at the time of writing this, and according to the developer, Abacre Photo Downloader provides support for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003, and Vista.
Limitations – you can use Abacre Photo Downloader free of charge for a trial period of 21 days.
If you would like to edit the photos you downloaded off the web, you can use another Abacre-developed application. You can use Abacre Photo Editor.

About Abacre
The name Abacre is a combination of two words: abacus + acre. Abacre has selected this word combination to show the fact that it comes up with “software systems that represent units (acres) of information system.” Abacre comes up with intelligent data processing applications for business and small useful utilities for Windows. All applications are thoroughly tested to ensure they are top quality, to ensure they are user friendly, and to ensure they do not contain viruses.
